Last week, I shared with you that I got so sick of my bathroom’s linoleum floor that I decided to paint it.
Now that the paint is fully dry, I’ve been able to get back into the room and take a few more shots.
The finish isn’t perfect.
But then again, the floor was far from perfect prior to paint.
Despite the flaws, it’s still a tremendous improvement over the yellowed hexagonal shape that was keeping the 80s alive and well in the room before.
Next step – removing the hideous wallpaper. And perhaps, a couple more changes, like the one you’ll see featured below!

You are brave to paint those floors. Good job. Thanks so much for sharing at my Swing into Spring party.
Now the floors are nice and neutral, easy to put a cute rug on.
Can't wait to see the finished product.

I want to do that as soon as we buy this house we're renting. The bathroom floors (and kitchen) are hideous! and who knows when we'd be able to afford a reno. Great idea!
Wow, that floor looks great! I may hav to try that with our older bathroom. thanks for sharing.
This made me laugh!
My house was awful when I moved in! Painting the floors sounds just like something I would do because I couldn't take it's ugliness one more minute!!
I think it looks great!!
Removing wall paper is a nightmare!!
I just became a follower so I can see it when it's all done!!
Good job.
