Whenever I get a little stressed, I daydream about a faraway, exotic locale. One where I let my hair do as it pleases (which ranges anywhere from pin straight to wavy curls), wear long, flowy dresses, and pile on the jewelry. Despite a love of chic and modern decor, I am still a sucker for crossed patterns and mixes of bright pops of color. In my Batik Chic Pinterest board, you’ll find just that. Do the two aesthetics always have to be in conflict? Not at all; they all tend to look pretty amazing against a simple, white wall.
