A Makeunder

My Sunday night wasn’t the least bit glamorous.

Before…

After…

I learned a long time ago not to shower on Saturday night if I plan to get this messy on Sunday.  There’s really no point.  By the end, I’m still a dirty, twisted mess who’s going to wake up with back pain in the morning (seriously, they need to invent a way for me to pop my upper back in the convenience of my own home without relying on bear hugs).

But, this also means two things:  One – I met my Sunday goal.  It doesn’t look like much, but when it comes to drywall, that’s kind of the point.

And Two – I am very close to being able to pick up the paint color and get the guest bath up and running.  I’ll be heading back in there tonight to hurt my back a little more slather on the last coat.  Yeehaw.

  1. Yay progress progress! I can't wait to see how it all turns out!

  2. About cracking your back, my trick is to lay with my upper back across a firm but soft surface (the arm of my sofa works). Kind of sitting sideways on the sofa with my back draped over the arm. Hang down and stretch out your back,, even pushing down a little with your upper body. It helps to do this after a shower when your muscles are loose. Find the right spot and instant relief!

  3. Thank you! I've tried it over my bed but the arm of the couch sounds stiffer. I'll definitely try it.

  4. Great progress. Can't wait to see when its all done! Exciting!
