It’s been a while since I’ve shared more than a cameo from Charlie in a single post. But while I was in Arizona figuring out how to be patient with unfamiliar tools, Charlie was away at doggie boarding. She doesn’t have to stay at another person’s home very often, so I get a little picky about the type of care she gets if I’m away. I go for places that allow the dogs to play with one another (and will fork over the extra dough to find a place that doesn’t keep her in a crate all day). The best part of sending her to a place that lets her play all day long with five (or more) other dogs?
The extra days I get on the back end for her to recover from all that play time. For me, it’s money well spent!
How about you? Are you picky about your dog’s care when you head out of town?
P.S. Photos were taken at my parents’ house, thus the unfamiliar furniture (and the fact that she gets to lay on it). Atlanta area folks – if you want a recommendation, send me an email. I am really happy with where she stayed!
