Lessons Learned

WATCH ME MAKE A MESS

In my attempts to DIY, there are an endless number of moments where I am doing something for the first time:

caulking windows, patching holes, painting ceilings, etc.

To do many of these projects, I often use a web page (or two) before beginning the job.  They don't always wind up perfect, or quick, or easy, but one thing is for sure:  I always come out on the other side, proud of what I was able to accomplish on my own.

To those out there who, like me, are attempting something for the first time, I am housing a collection of my own hard-earned lessons here for your use.  I guess it's my way to pay it forward to the other DIYers who have helped me.

Best of luck with your projects!  And don't by shy; you are welcome to send me your success stories (or complete failures, if you want to commiserate) to sarah {at} uglyducklinghouse.com or share them on my Facebook page.
