Here are just a few of the ornaments that I enjoy seeing on my tree this year. If you haven’t been visiting this blog long, most of my tree ornaments are collected from a company called Old World Christmas. I simply LOVE their overly glittery (and sometimes very unconventional) designs. I have several that represent different points in time in my life, such as the snow-covered house (the Ugg-Duck, natch), my Georgia wreath (again, a no-brainer), and a fire hydrant (at first, it was for Colby; now it’s my way of having Charlie on the tree). A few of the others are from my mother’s tree (like the fish and the white poinsettia one).
This year, I’ll be on the lookout in stores for tool-related ones, like a wrench, power saw, and claw hammer (What? Tool ornaments could use a little glitter, right?). There are some equal non-sentimental ones that I’d love to add to my tree too, so to keep track I’m keeping up a collection on Pinterest.
What about your favorites?
