I’m not exactly the person who ever thought I’d be able to give cleaning and organization advice. But, here I am, after a few years of remodeling, and my home is staying… a lot tidier than I ever really thought I was capable of.
Of course, it doesn’t happen overnight: to get clean, you have to get organized. To do either, you have to try not to make a giant mess in the first place, or at least set a realistic goal to save yourself some time at the end of a project to actually get the cleanup part done. And that requires a little planning.
In time, I realized that cleaning and organization was all about figuring out a system that works for you and how you need the space around you to function optimally, rather than relying on some other person’s ideal storage design. A closet can go through years of neglect and piled coats, and then bam: a place for everything every time the dog needs to go for a walk.
Hopefully, you can find little snippets and tips within these posts to help keep your entire home well organized, conquer clutter, and find storage space you didn’t know you had!
