I’ve been blogging since 2010 and have always been afraid to do a reader survey. I’m not exactly sure why.

Oh wait, yeah I do.  I’ve been afraid that some random internet person would rip me a new one and I’d shrivel and die. But today, I’m feeling brave. So I’m going to take the risk and find out a little bit more about my awesome readers. I want to know what you guys think, and what you’d like to see in 2013.

I’m also hoping that some of your questions will make their way into a Q & A video I’m working on for my About Me page. It’s always been a goal of mine to get myself more in front of the lens instead of behind it (how many tutorials could you possibly want from a headless torso anyway?). Thanks to Mom’s awesome gift for Christmas, I can have the camera pointed at me so I can be in the shot.

This is what happens when I try to get a photo of Charlie AND me. She turns away. Brat.

Also, I wanted to take the last day of 2012 to thank you for following this site. Whether you actually subscribe or just stalk it every day, I am so very grateful that you stop by. A lot of the amazing things that happened in 2012 were all because of this blog, and a lot of things happening in 2013 will be because of it too. I couldn’t do those things without your support. And by the way, the emails and encouraging comments? Yeah – totally makes my heart grow like the Grinch discovering the meaning of Christmas. So keep them coming. You guys rock.

Without further ado, my first ever reader survey! (If you’re having trouble viewing the form, please try this link).

P.S. I’d also like to take this time to say thank you to my current site sponsors. Wedo Headboards and Moatside Plumbing & Heating are both based in the UK and are currently running some great deals. And I have been having a little fun customizing design spaces on UpgradeSpace.com – it’s one of those virtual sites that lets you visualize how a room will look (and upload your own images, save your account, estimate costs, etc). Kinda cool. So please feel free to check out these guys. Thank you, and I’ll see you all in 2013!

Sarah

  1. I had to request access for the survey. Was this intentional? Just wondering, interested in taking part :)

    1. No, it's not intentional. I'm trying to see what the problem is. I'm clearly should have tested this before trying it out!

    2. Goodness gracious, that'll teach me to publish this late at night. I think I have it fixed. So sorry to anyone who tried and got frustrated (I would be!). Thanks for your patience!

    3. Haha, awww, it's no problem! I know I would want to know if something on my page had kinks in it. I'll resubmit my survey on the new form you've provided in the post. Thanks!

  2. Ok, I filled out the survey, but I received a response that the webpage was unavailable …. I think I remember all my witty comments, and I'm more than happy to attempt being witty once again, but if I don't have to be witty, it's probably better for both of us!
