You may have noticed (at least, I kinda hope you read this blog enough to have noticed), but I’ve been a little MIA this week. And it’s only because I’ve had only enough time to either work on things around the house or blog about them, but not both. So I’m working away in the hopes that I’ll have plenty to show off to you very, very soon. If you’ve been checking out my Facebook page or Twitter, you may have seen my sneak peek at the new house colors.

I’m just a smidge scared that the brown paint I chose might be a little too peach or too light. What do you think? This photo was taken with my phone as I left for work, so the color is definitely not spot on. And with the forecast showing scattered thunderstorms for the last few days, the rain clouds don’t lend themselves to picture taking, either.

Here is what it looks like from the online swatch:

Behr Basketry
And here is the color for the trim.
Behr Rustic Cream
And one last reminder:  If you haven’t entered the big, fat giveaway yet, today’s your last chance!
Ends at 7 PM tonight, and TWO winners will be announced tomorrow!

  1. The Rustic Cream shows up pretty white in the photos, but the the Basketry is beautiful. I think it's a nice update to your current color without too drastic a change. Good choices! I can't wait to see what it looks like upon completion.

  2. I really love the color basketry. It's beautiful. I can't wait to see what it will look like.
