Hey there! I'm Sarah. My favorite things: 1) tearing my house apart and 2) putting it back together again. I occasionally talk about other things, like life and food and travel, but it's mostly my obsession with DIY and power tools that you'll find here!

Without a doubt … I vote for FUNKY!! Super cool!
Is this even a question? Old ladders it is!
I do love the painted trendy look. Maybe it's just the yellow . . .
Hmm… I kind of love the funky look! I would love to see you pull it off!
I like the second one. The room doesn't look huge and it seems lie it would take up less space visually!
I love the ladders! I'm now mentally moving furniture in my house to put up shelving like that.
My vote is the Vittsjo. Very simple – that way you can punch things up with accessories. That funky one is a bit overwelming – to the point you don't really see anything on it! And every one and their grandmother has the first ones! I'll be anxious to see what you choose!
I simply adore the ladders…..it makes me wish my last name started with a W….or an M…..hmmmm….maybe there should be a company that makes alphabet letter bookshelves!!! Have fun with whatever option you choose. As always, it will be brilliant!
Love the last idea of storage with ladder……so cool!
Kinda in love with the ladders!!! I wish I could do that but I see Hurricane Tenley using them to master her climbing skills.
If you're trying to make an impact then choose the ladders, but they don't seem to offer as much storage space and long term I think you might tire of them. The second style seems to allow for more adapting to your style.
Thanks for the blog, these are some great ideas….
Duh psh duh! OLD LADDERS.
I think you will like the ladder best; however, you've said that you're not planning to live there permanently. Thus, I'd say a neutral pick would be best. For that matter, the cheapest neutral option that will show well.
