They are in preparation of building this:
After nearly three years of DIY and using folding tables in the garage, I am finally building my first sturdy workbench. This is the first of two, but now that all of the pieces are cut, it’s only a matter of assembling before my table is ready to go.
I’m creating a new Pinterest board as well for garage inspiration. I want to finally have a shop I can feel comfortable to work in instead of cramped and cranky. If you have some of your own garage/wood shop makeovers to share, please leave a link in the comments.

And because it seems like so many projects between the DIY Diva and I overlap (granted, hers are always more badass than mine), check out her awesome post about workbenches and men with beards.
The sawdust is flying, and I feel like it’s about time!

We cleaned out our garage this weekend – but unfortunately that only meant lugging 18 bags of trash to the curb and fitting our cars in it – no actual organization happened yet. But now that we have all the junk cleared out, I hope I can super organize it soon. We gutted our kitchen but saved our old cabinets to mount in the garage which I am excited about.
When are we going to see the bathroom?! =)
Tomorrow, I hope!
You for sure won't be getting an inspiration photo of my garage/gym/storage/workspace Its a wreck! Nice work on the bench…I'd say 3 years have taught you well.
Here is the first workbench hubby built for me:

Definitely not a well-written post, so don't judge too harshly. I like how it folds up out of the way so I can park my car inside in the winter. And it now has an outlet (outlet-extender?) so you can use power tools without crazy extension cords. I guess I'll have to post an update soon.
I love it! I can barely step foot in ours and regret not getting my crap together and having a yard sale. Maybe I'll do it in the dead of winter- no competition that way ;)
Looking forward to the pins and progress posts!
