A migraine got the better of me this weekend, so no new mailbox post is up as of yet (the mere thought of taking shovel to dirt was enough to make my head pound). However, I was able to get the storm door off and a little more painting done on the front stoop before the headache hit.

Just a few short weeks ago, it looked like this:

So, it wasn’t as productive of a weekend as I’d hoped, but when it comes to DIY, even baby steps can create a noticeable difference!

  1. I find it very inspirational to see a home get a second chance at being someone's dream-dwelling! There are a lot of character traits that are built in to older homes but need some TLC to be appreciated again.
