Bing Crosby. In my house, his voice begins Christmas.
Each year, I watch Holiday Inn and White Christmas. Those of you that are familiar with just White Christmas, please… watch the movie that started it. Holiday Inn is a classic. And c’mon, you can’t turn down Bing Crosby and Fred Astaire, can you?
“Counting My Blessings” makes me think of both Thanksgiving and Christmas(for obvious reasons). It’s the perfect holiday transition song.
So, count your blessings, stuff yourself silly, and get ready for Christmas. The countdown begins!
I LOVE White Christmas, and giggled when I said the title to this post. I will have to watch Holiday Inn this year. Thanks for this post!
Christmas isn't Christmas without a dose of 'Sisters.. Sisters', but I do love the concept of Holiday Inn..
Wouldn't it be wonderful to own a business that could make money whilst only being open on Bank Holidays?
12 nights a year.. fabulous.

I just found your blog a few days ago and I am obsessed! And this post just confirmed it! I have been watching White Christmas and Holiday Inn since I was a baby-those are 2 of the movies my family watches every year. I’m always the loner in my friends group (and my husband’s friends and family) who is in love with those movies. Yay for finding others in the club!
On board with you 100% on these old movies! I love them! And glad to have ya!
