I willfully admit that the little wannabe photographer somewhere inside of me is partial to my camera’s macro settings. If I can get an artsy-fartsy camera angle, you can bet I’m going to show it off. Especially since I’m using just a simple digital camera and sheer willpower (aka knees, ankles, and elbows) to get the angles I want.
Because you know, anyone who can work a macro setting is apparently a genius, budding pro.
(For the camera specifics, these were taken with a Canon PowerShot SD1200 IS.)
There will be more non-macro shots of the hiking trail I walked, the incredible golf course of Torrey Pines (not that I play, just views), and other trip highlights in a future post, so for those who want more scenic views, those are coming up next week (I hope, as long as I can get them through the photo editor by then!). Enjoy!
