It’s been a while since I’ve updated the House Tour, so now that I’m on a school break, I’m attempting to at least not come home to a train wreck. I started with the living room and got halfway through the kitchen staging before I completely passed out from exhaustion, but luckily this house isn’t huge. I’ll be done with the downstairs in no time.

And since it’s been two and half years from where the renovations all began, now seems like as good a time as any to take a trip down memory lane with how far the living room has come.

But let’s not forget about the model in the middle of the carpet. She’s still doing her poses.

What have you been working on lately?

  1. As soon as I read Barbara Streisand…that stupid song gets stuck in my head. Thanks a lot!

But really, what a great transformation!

  2. You bet! I can't wait until I get curtains in here (but let's face it, that will be a while!).

  3. I was wondering what you did with the floor. Was there real wood under the carpet or did you put a laminate in?

I also like how the light coming into the room really sets it off. Those curtains really made it look terrible.

  4. @Jason Installed laminate. Thanks for pointing it out; I'll edit the post with those links :)

  5. Great transformation Sarah! First time visiting the blog and absolutely loving it. Just went ahead and subscribed to your YouTube channel as well. Can’t wait for new projects.
