Football. Oktoberfest. Backyard firepits. For many reasons, fall freaking rocks.

The yard is slowly coming along, and now that the weather is cooling down to a temp more comfortable than the surface of the sun (being on a roof during a Georgia summer is miserable, so I save exterior work until the weather cools off), I can do a little more work on the trim. Yep – the thing I’m still not finished with over a year later is happening again.

I’m glad I’ve been outside and enjoying the weather. It’s helped me take care of some of the yard debris that used to look like this:

Only now, it looks more like this:

And the camellias in the front are going to begin blooming again soon.

Okay, so this post was mostly about the buds on the camellias (I love that shot). But bring on fall!

  1. Ah fall…We are doing some major yard sprucing. Stained the deck, planted fall bulbs, re-painted the entry and shed and filled the front steps with mums, pumpkins and a new mat. :)
