Ok, House, it’s time to get serious.

No, I’m not referring to him, I mean this diamond in the rough:

Can you spot the Pooch making his way into the shot?

House, I’ve been working on you like a madwoman for the last year and three months, and you have so very little to show for it.

On the outside, anyway. Lots of brown patches, too much pine straw… you’re just a big ol’ mess.

So, with warm weather and the intermittent rain we can expect with spring, it’s time to roll up our sleeves and begin anew. Starting with this funny looking fella.

More tomorrow!

  1. We have exactly the same problem with our house. We hope people don't make too many judgements about the outside. We need to put out a sign saying “it's so much nicer inside, really!”

  2. My lawn in front is pretty green, but we've never once done this, and now I'm wondering just how much built up gunk I have choking it. Thanks for this; my husband may ban me from your blog though.
