Scott has taken a sudden interest in our pitiful front lawn. My theory for the last few months has been that green is green, so who cares if it’s Bermuda, St. Augustine, or crabgrass? Scott, on the other hand, wants to get a head start on next year’s outdoor projects.
He has been actively eradicating the hardy crabgrass from the lawn by ripping them out one at a time. During the winter months the crabgrass will die off, but he is determined to eliminate (or at least severely reduce) the germination of new crabgrass seeds.
