Inspiration comes in many forms, and in this case, it’s by color scheme: Erin’s House of Turquoise is a site devoted to all things turquoise/teal/sky/seafoam/ocean blue, and I’m smitten.
I find that many of my ooohh’s and aaaahhh’s and inspiration ideas come from this blog, especially when I feel stumped. Each photo is HUGE, properly linked to sources, and shows you that your favorite color can be beautifully worked into your own home, regardless of your personal style. Until this site, I always thought that my favorites (seaglass, sand, white) would only work in a beach/cottage-inspired style, which wouldn’t have worked for many of the features in my house. Now, I can find small ways to sprinkle calming blues and grays without going overboard. Just check out a few of my favorites from her site!
I love this side table!!!
Reminds me of SATC
Not into blue? No problem, Erin’s got other décor-by-color blogs including Pop of Red, Purple Punch, and Décor Green!
Love that blog! You're right, it's so inspiring – and anyone that loves turquoise is awesome in my book. :)
This doesn't have to do with your house, but I am OBSESSED with the bathtub in this post. How amazing is that?!?!
