A yard threatening to overtake the house. My mower was quite unhappy with the prospect of taking full strips of crabgrass down, so I had to go little by little.
I find that regardless of how weird I look zig zagging all over the lawn, the neighbors will at least appreciate that I’ve tamed the front yard.
And the house isn’t looking too bad lately, either. More updates to the front coming just as soon as I can put this semester behind me.
Oh my heck, I always wait til the very last civil moment to mow my lawn also! Your house is looking beautiful. Good luck with schoolio!
I am so jealous that you have such beautiful, green grass! Mine is slowly but surely turning into a giant pile of brown.
@Jillian@TheHumbleGourmet Crabgrass may be green, but it's a weed – and grows faster than my mower can handle. My Dad would say “green is still green,” so I guess I should be glad?
I thought your dad would say, “off white.” ;)
Haha, yep!
Haha I love this article, is it never not a pain to mow the grass…I just have to whine!
I think riding a Barbie pink riding mower that is blinged out with Swarovski crystals might make mowing your lawn a little more fun. Maybe.
Ah mowing the lawn. Wish I didn't have to BUT I have to. It's just one of those things that if you don't get it done will come to “haunt” you :)
Wth? I think your yard is too large for just one person to do the mowing. That will take you hours man. Btw,I like your illustration. =)
You can do it.
If you throw in some low-maintenance shrubs/wildflowers you could lessen the amount of lawn that requires mowing!
