Since first purchasing the UD house, I’ve been stumped to try and find suitable places to stick two very heavy stone planters that I found on the front lawn. They just seemed so cumbersome and awkward.

Back in the day – just a year ago!

Now – Finally, some color instead of weeds.

On top of the lawn care and petunia planting, I thought that it was time for the planters to finally have a legitimate place in the yard. So, I updated them for spring with the help of four bunches of Gerbera Daisies (which I didn’t know until I purchased them were not “Gerber” daisies like the baby food).

I chose a mixture of yellow and coral as well as a mix of rounded versus spiky petal varieties (more plant-savvy technical terms for ya).

At any rate, they will at least give me something to look at while I wait for the rest of the lawn to get growing already!
