Is it daylight? Good. Then I guess it’s an appropriate time to take a picture. None of this “proper lighting” nonsense that the other blogs tell you about. Around here, it’s only light versus dark since I don’t have the luxury of perfect sunny afternoon photo ops during weekdays, so every “good” sesh has to wait for the weekend. Darn that pesky job that pays all the bills (wink).

While I have a friggin’ awesome new camera (I’m so in love I resist the urge to decorate it with hearts), I’m afraid I’ve still got a long way to go when it comes to taking some great after shots now that I’m making some progress on the exterior paint job. Unfortunately, you’ll get what I give you. And like it.

Kidding. I really want these shots to be better and have perfect lighting just like the rest of blogland. But, I suppose struggling to find the right time of day to take photos of the house is on par with my struggle to actually get to the finish line.

Progress is progress though. And the upside is I’ll have conquered my not-high-enough-to-kill-me-but-just-high-enough-to-break-something-useful fears. Happy Wednesday!
