For some reason, despite buying new vanities for the bathrooms, replacing my laptop stand, and a trip to Ikea, I also felt the need to do some window shopping at Homegoods with Mom.

Even though I told myself I’d reached my budget’s limit for now, as I card-carrying member of the Impulse Buyers Club, I didn’t walk out of the store empty-handed.

Though,
I really want to stress,
I found the argument against my wallet pretty darn compelling.
And here’s why:

As you can see, I really wasn’t in a position to say no. ‘Scuse my as I pick my jaw back up from the floor.
