Charlie
Charlie “Bug” was born in 2011 and is my adoring sidekick. She has pretty much grown up around DIY, so she has zero fear of power tools or being under ladders (which, of course, I have to keep a watchful eye on). She adores running at full speed on farmland and is insatiably curious. She is one of the gentlest treat-stealers on the planet, but very excitable. She is also convinced she is much smaller than she is, which is probably compounded by the fact that her sister Stella (who joined the family in 2017) is 40 lbs smaller.
Likes: Bacon (all food, really), protecting Stella, running, end-of-the-bed naps, belly rubs (though she has no clue how to lay on her back for them, so she’ll tower over you instead), enthusiastic jumping, barking, roughhousing with K, deep butt scratches, getting brushed, fortune cookies, chewing on unused paint sticks
Dislikes: fences, fireworks, being picked up, bath time, opossums, cats, being on a leash
