My Family… for all the help they have given me, past and present. I wouldn’t be where I am today without them.

My Friends… for all of the times they have been there. For giving me an ear. For making me laugh.

My boyfriend, Scott… my love and my best friend.

My Home… even on its bad days, it’s still an amazing feeling to remind myself:  I am a homeowner. I bought this for me. With my own money, my own time, and my own means.

My Job… this year started out with me feeling like I was stuck (big, drippy exclamation point), and my lack of professional advancement was making me feel disappointed and depressed. With the beginning of a new job, I have a new career (there’s a difference) to look forward to. And in today’s economy, actually being employed these last few years is something I am truly grateful for.

My Readers… I can’t believe there are complete strangers out there who are actually interested in little old me and my little old house. Thank you for your encouragement!

Have a Happy Thanksgiving, everyone. Watch the parade, carry on your traditions, and start some of your own. And remember to be thankful for what this life has given you!
