This year’s Christmas cards feature the newest (and cutest) member of the family: Charlie Bug.

I must have taken over a hundred photos during our little session. The bug is fast, but she’s willing to stay still for a frame or two if she knows you have treats in your hand. She also thinks the whirring of the camera is the weirdest sound on the planet, and I particularly love the look she gives me when it’s clicking.

While I had a few contenders, I ultimately chose the photo I thought was least likely to wind up as my Christmas card. But I guess I was in a Grinchy mood this year after taking Mom to see How the Grinch Stole Christmas: The Musical at one of Atlanta’s best city landmarks: The Fox Theatre. And Charlie did such a good job of looking like miserable Max.

So, from my home to yours, I wish you a very Merry Christmas!
