I seem to really be into wreath-making this year. My most recent glue gun creation is this jingle bell wreath.

I didn’t have my camera around (shocker) when I piled the materials onto my lap and just began gluing. In approximately two Glee episodes (sans commercials), I no longer had a wreath form and bags of bells; instead, I had this.

If I had to do it over again, I’d paint the wreath form before the gluing began. You can still see a little green in between each bell, but it’s not that big of a deal that I missed out.

This project in total cost about $10 for materials (4 bags of 12mm bells and 1 9″ wreath form from Michaels). And, since the glue is only attached to the bottom section of each bell, it makes for a great Colby-confusing noisemaker.

I’m not sure where it will ultimately wind up, but for now I’m wedging it into the tree until I find a more suitable spot and add some ribbon. What do you think of it – do you love the jingly addition, or do you think it’s time for a wreath-making intervention at the UD house?
