I feel like a champ. I have managed to not kill my plants for an entire season.

My garden is still intact, and even more plants are growing in (tulips that I didn’t realize were there last spring since only one grew). Even though I felt a bit like a moron for not finding the bulbs when we dug up the original garden last fall, I’m choosing to focus on the whole not a plant killer thing.

The cabbage are even growing these beautiful little flowers (there seems to be a yellow theme going on around the house, eh?), which I didn’t even realize was what happened in the spring. In case you haven’t grasped by now, I’ve still got a lot to learn about gardening. Apparently it’s more than dig hole. insert seed. cover with more dirt. water.

The little flowers made for a fantastic impromptu digital camera lesson. Otherwise known as “Hmm, what does this button do?” Here are some of the better shots. Happy Friday, everyone!

  1. “Hmm, what does this button do?” is my photography technique as we;;. Hey, it works, right?

I also “accidentally” garden, but if you have tulips, you're way ahead of me.
