It’s growing dark.
Our trees are hooked up…
The lights are plugged in…

And it’s finally time to reveal our first year’s Christmas lights!

I love that the tree can be seen from both the outside as well as the inside of the house. For us, the wait to put the lights up was well worth it, and also in just the nick of time, too – the very next day, a cold front swept in and brought snow flurries. Brrr! So glad we got it done in one day and could enjoy the glow from the inside with freshly baked Christmas cookies and hot chocolate. Have you put up your outdoor lights yet? What do you think of our first attempt?

Sharing with a few of these parties.

  1. It looks so pretty! The one thing our house is missing is outdoor lights–too much snow this year!
