My little sister got married earlier this year, so it was the first time we’d ever held Christmas anywhere other than my parents’ house.Uncle Knick-Knack hung out in the dining room…

But we were all enjoying the much larger real tree in the living room (“Norman”, apparently).

Christmas brunch included the usual mimosas (they weren’t really radioactive, I assure you)…

And a few new recipes too…

We had quite a haul, and I’m happy to report that I now have real sawhorses (instead of ones made from kegs). I am also the owner of this super-cool T-shirt, a book I can’t wait to read, and a camera lens I’m actually planning a vacation around just so I can try it out (hey, we all find our motivations somewhere!).

And just for the heck of it, here are a few more photos. How was your holiday?
