Yeah I like the first rug the most too. Can't say I'm a fan of pixels, they make me think of poor resolution and make my eyes thing they are blurring.
Though bizarrely patchwork quilts in plain squares != pixels? And I can also tolerate cross stitch, which let's face it, is exactly like pixels?
