New month, new pattern! I felt it was time for a cute little night scene in honor of shorter days and spooky themes. And this purple pattern fits the bill!

Purple Moonlight Cross Stitch Pattern

Ahhh, that fresh pattern smell 🤣. It’s the first of the month, so you know how this goes by now — new pattern release! I’ve also started working on the 2023 releases, which means soon you’ll be able to see previews of them in the library. It also means that older batches of patterns that have been available for longer will be retired and only available in the NeedleSpark archive (my new sister site dedicated to cross stitch patterns), which is members only.

If you think you might be interested, head over to the new site and take a look around. You’ll find not only archived patterns that you can’t get over not the blog anymore, but lots of other patterns I have never released anywhere else. I add several new patterns each month, sometimes even whole collections (like telescope images!). You can still get significant savings on the membership cost if you join by the end of the year, so head on over and join today!

Purple Moonlight Cross Stitch Pattern

I hear mushrooms are going to be a trend in home decor, so why not stitch this lovely pattern for your walls?

  • Designed for 14 count Aida
  • Full counted cross stitches only
  • DMC floss colors: 16
  • Size: approximately 4.9 in. x 4.9 in. (12.5 cm x 12.5 cm)
  • 69 x 69 stitches

While nothing about this pattern specifically says “spooky”, this purple night pattern is a great beginner chart for those that are new to cross stitch and want to do something festive for Halloween. For whatever reason, it makes me think of Hocus Pocus, but perhaps that’s just because the sequel was released a few days ago and I have been meaning to watch it! To me, the purple gradient, the pink clouds, the white and magenta stars, etc. all make this pattern especially fun for pairing up with black and purple Halloween decor. I hope you enjoy!
